Listing Details

This lot contains two binders of 3x5s and cuts, mainly 3x5s. Condition is clean, these are from an old timer collector and were collected since at least the 1970s. There is hardly any duplication, but the main focus here is Boston Red Sox content. The players go back to the very early 20th century and there are many, many better signatures here. A fun lot to persue, better content includes (but is almost certainly not limited to the following): Autry, Barber, Bush, Max Carey, Tom Carey (cut), Carrigan, V. DiMaggio, Doby, Doerr (vintage signed Burke postcard), Dugan, Earnshaw, Easter, Frisch (cut), Gardner, Jack Graney, F. Hayes (Dí55 at age 40), Bill James (great inscription), D. Lewis, Pinelli, Rolfe (cut), Chet Ross, Merv Shea (Dí64), Shore, R. Stephenson, Jim Tabor (Dí53 at age 36), Tony Conigliaro, Whitehill (Dí54 at age 55) and Rudy York (Dí58, superb). In short, this is a very substantial lot that was collected over many decades by a dedicated and focused collector, the winning bidder should really enjoy the quality fruits of his labor. JSA LOA.
