Listing Details

Offered is a box filled with Christmas cards sent to former Yankee pitcher Jim Bouton. These appear to be mainly from the 1960s and 1970s. Most are from his teammates, Yankee execs and players from other teams, including Mel Allen, Coleman, Howard Cosell family, Hamilton, Elston Howard, Maris, Murcer, Pepitone, Richardson, Sain, Skowron and Tresh. Most are unsigned or presumably signed by a wife of a former teammates, we make no representation as to who signed the cards. We can state that these are a charming and interesting historical relic, a great window into American culture in the 1960s and 1970s.
