Great 19th century true cabinet card of an important figure in baseball history, this is just terrific. A HOFer and fascinating person, this card has a slight chip in the bottom border. We assume this led to the Authentic grade but we are not certain. The card offers an extremely attractive larger format image of Ward leaning on his period bat, the condition is not bad at all. The back has some staining but no paper loss, the surfaces on the front are clean overall.
