Listing Details

Wonderful item, offered is a true 19 x 15 Abraham Lincoln signed 1862 Presidential document. The edges are crisp, the seal is perfect, this displays very well. Signed by Lincoln at the lower right, this is also signed by Secretary of War Edwin Stanton. There are no breaks in either signature, they both display well. This is a military appointment document, a John A. Judson is appointed the title of Captain of a Volunteer brigade. This has been folded but has sharp edges and is ideal for display. Given the world we live in today, original items from such a wonderful and consequential President should receive a tremendous response among collectors. In terms of valuation, this really should trade for 5-10 times the value of a Babe Ruth signed photo. JSA LOA (full).
