Cardinals team issue postcard, this is postmarked May 1, 1953. The beloved Hutchinson signed the back in superb flowing blue ballpoint ink. Hutchinson tragically died of cancer in 1964 at age 45 and has a prominent cancer center named after him in Seattle, Washington.
