Listing Details

One of the all time classic baseball cards, offered is a very pleasing collector grade 1915 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb. Part of a fresh to the hobby collection of Cracker Jacks, our consignor collected these in the 1990s, pre-grading. The offered card has no visible creases or wrinkles, even under magnification. The front offers a sharp and perfectly clear image and good color. The corner wear is mild and consistent, more like VG than Good. There is moderate staining by the bottom half of the card, generally on the borders. The borders and surfaces are otherwise clean. The back has staining and some wear by the bottom, none of the text is affected, it is not bad at all. With the explosion in prices for cornerstone baseball cards, this is one that will be particularly interesting to watch over the next few years. Who wants to add a truly great Ty Cobb card to their collection?
