Listing Details

Offered is a Honus Wagner card that we have not seen before. Unquestionably vintage, we did not send this into a grading service. The offered card is on medium cardboard stock. The image is of Wagner batting with a somewhat ornate border with bats and an orange border. Handcut, this may have been part of a larger piece or some type of candy card. The card measures 1 5/16 x 2 3/4, which is standard for cards from this era. The back is blank, with image displaying partially through. These is some creasing, the corners are not bad at all; if this was a standard card it would probably grade Good. Priced at $12,500 by the person our consignor obtained this from, who wants to take a chance on something potentially super rare or 1/1 special?
