Offered is a very well rendered display of a James Madison document signed as President. Dated July 21, 1809, this is a Ship Safe Passage document. Signed by Madison and his Secretary of State, the signatures are a touch light but more than respectable. This has a nice Presidential seal and vivid imagery at the top border, but there is damage to the document just above Madison's signature. Total size 20x19. JSA LOA (full).
