Known as The Fordham Flash, Frankie Frisch was one of the most charismatic and popular HOFers from the 1920s and 1930s. A winner wherever he went, Frisch appeared in the World Series no less than eight times! A popular HOFer, Frisch died in 1974 and signed flat items through the mail but player contracts hardly ever come to market. The offered lot is especially exciting as it from 1934, as player-manager of the legendary Gashouse Gang St. Louis Cardinals team that won the World Series in a 7-game classic over the Tigers. This is one of the best signed items from this team to hit the market in years. The contact is fully executed, signed by Frankie Frisch and famous Cardinals exec Sam Breadon in matching flowing blue fountain pen; NL President Heydlers secretary signed for him on the back. If you are a big Cardinals fan (or even a Giants fan) or just like great items, you may well want to take a series look at this treasure.
