The current auction is our unique to the industry affordable autograph, card and memorabilia auction. Covering all of the major sports, this auction consists almost entirely of collectibles with a retail value of $500 or less and low minimum bids. This particular auction contains a very interesting assortment of autographs, cards and memorabilia from all of the major sports.
Day one is all about baseball autographs as usual. Signed cards come first: we have a nice assortment of vintage signed cards with HOFers, scarce signatures and contemporary signed cards. 3x5 collectors will see many fine slabbed pieces, including the DiMaggio Brothers, Koufax/Drysdale, Willard Brown, Fred Merkle, Branch Rickey and more. Signed cuts include Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby and a really nice early Mickey Mantle. We have a nice run of GPCs, with group lots and single pieces.
Day two starts with baseball cards. We have clean sets from the 1970s, some nice unopened boxes and packs and quality group lots. This auction has many fine vintage cards that usually do not appear in this sytle auction. These cards include clean 1950s cards of Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente among much more. Baseball cards conclude with some better modern cards.
