Offered is a terrific TLS from 1940 on Brooklyn Dodger letterhead. Fresh to the hobby, this was written to former player John Red Murray. The content relates to a potential franchise in Elmira, New York. MacPhail signed this in bold and spotless period black fountain pen ink and this comes with the transmittal envelope. A vital HOF executive, Larry MacPhail died in 1975 and is a scarce and very desirable autograph. JSA LOAA.
