Listing Details

Anchored by a nice well centered Mikan Rookie PSA 2.5, these sets seem so cheap right now. A very difficult set to complete due to the high numbers and the Mikan, these are much, much harder to find than the 57 and 61 sets that sell for so much money these days. The offered set varies in grade, but averages about VG-Ex overall. The key cards grade as follows: 1 Calverley PSA 3.5, 9 Phillip Ex, 10 Davies RC VG-Ex/Ex, 32 Holzman RC PSA 7, 34 Fulks RC PSA 5, 38 Jeanette Ex-Mt hand-cut (grey bknd), 43 Halbert NM hand-cut, 46 McKinney Ex-Mt hand-cut (grey bknd), 48 Sadowski Ex hand-cut, 52 Simmons PSA AA, 54 Palmer Ex-Mt hand-cut, 55 Zaslofsky PSA 4.5, 58 Risen PSA AA, 66 Pollard RC PSA 4, 69 Mikan PSA 2.5 and 72 Braun PSA 3.5. As is almost always the case with these, the are some cards that were hand-cut from panels back in the 1970s. We will have front and back scans of every card on our website for more detail. As presented, this set represents a terrific value with the quality examples of the Mikan, Holzman, Fulks, Zaslosfky, Pollard and Braun cards.
