Listing Details

Great card of one of the most famous early baseball players! A famed slugger, Delahanty died under mysterious circumstances on a train in 1903 and is a cult favorite. A HOFer, he has very few cards. Offered is a gorgeous example of his key Mayo. With the best image clarity and contrast that we have ever seen on this card, this punches well above its weight! Well centered with jet black orders and a gorgeous front, the corners show only very light wear. The back is fully black but perhaps it came out of an album, leading to the 2.5 grade. This is an awfully, awfully nice example of this great card.
