Listing Details

A really nice item, this is just terrific. Offered is an original 1960 World Series program. The program is unscored with good color and a tight spine. There are 26 total signatures in the program, there are PERIOD signatures, which is very rare (these are almost always found signed in the sharpie from the 1980s and 1990s). These are all signed right on the front and back cover, which is also very rare. The key signatures here of course are real Mantle and Maris autographs. The other signatures include Berra, Cerv, Ford, Hegan, Howard, Houk, Long, Maas, McDougald and Skowron. The 1960 World Series was among the most exciting ever, the Yankee famously lost on a Bill Mazeroski walk-off home run, among the most exciting plays in all of baseball history. JSA LOA (full).
