Listing Details

The offered card is one of the most desirable Honus Wagner cards that one could ever collect. An extremely difficult card that is prized by vintage card collectors, this has the same image as his legendary T206 card. Freshly slabbed, this was purchased from us decades ago and has been sitting in a safety deposit for over 20 years. The offered card has rich color and well defined image. Centered to the right border, the front has a crease by the lower right corner. The front is otherwise clean, the corner wear is consistent and far from excessive. The back displays well, it has no paper loss, some creasing is present. The text on the back is all fully legible and displays well. The last sale for a PSA 1.5 was on 5/4/2024 for $81,086. The offered card has FAR SUPERIOR color and eye appeal, this is a markedly superior example that perhaps should have graded a 2. An almost monumental Honus Wagner card even in this grade, who wants to add a truly great card to their collection?
