Offered is simply a gorgeous piece to hold in hand. The first card of the legendary Cy Young, this is freshly slabbed. Purchased from us decades ago, this is a real treasure. The larger size (9x11) affords for a tremendous image. The card displays extremely well and is quite clean overall; a 3 is a superb grade for this issue. The back (which I especially like on this set) has a detailed biography and ornate artwork. The edges are crisp, the upper left corner has a slight crease, the back looks great. A rare and important card from one of the great names in baseball history, this is a real treasure. This may well be the finest condition example in the hobby, this is worthy of the top card collections in the hobby.
