Not your average Connie Mack letter, offered is a superb ALS dated July 20th, 1949 on Chase Hotel of St. Louis, Missouri letterhead. Mack goes into detail about problems with the team and mentions the loss of Barney McCoskey as a real problem. Boldly signed, a few letters look to have been touched up, possibly by Mack. It is very unusual to find a Connie Mack letter that describes problems with his beloved Philadephia A's team.
