A very early and desirable Honus Wagner period card, these have exploded in price in recent years. Freshly slabbed at the National, this may have been cut short as is typical for this issue. Printed on very fragile paper, these are very difficult to find without major tears, creasing, chipping and other condition issues. The offered piece has a superb image that is perfectly clean and superb. The edges are very clean overall for the issue, with just mild and light natural wear. Some fine creasing is present, the upper left corner shows wear. The surfaces are quite clean, the back shows some creasing but has no back damage.
