Offered is a truly awesome and visually striking early 20th century baseball pennant. Checking in at a mammoth forty inches long, this is a real conversation stopper. This is a multi-colored pennant with Detroit Tigers colors. Based on the typography used and the Tiger icon, we believe this to be from the 1906-1909 era. The tassels measure seven inches long, this is thirteen inches wide at the left side. The condition appears to be quite clean and fine, we see only very light general wear. A great piece from the very beginning of Ty Cobb's career, this is superb. Framed, the total size is 49x25.
