Very scarce single, James Rip Collins played from 1931-1938 and was a key player on the 1934 Cardinals Championship team. Collins died in 1970 and hardly ever comes on a baseball by himself. Offered is a very clean MacGregor model baseball from the 1950s 1955 is written on the top panel. This is boldly signed as follows: Best always James Rip Collins in extremely attractive period blue ballpoint ink. PSA graded this fine looking ball an awfully harsh 6.5, we feel it is an 8/10. Either way, this is something that hardly ever comes around. PSA DNA Full LOA.
