Missing just five cards (150, 250, 345, 526, 564), this is a simple project to complete. Our consignor is a hobby old-time purist and does not like grading. This set has some key cards and other cards that could do well in slabs. The set varies in grade, it is perhaps 25-30% Near Mint, the balance range from VG to Ex Plus with a wide range. The star cards however are exceedingly nice overall, providing some tremendous value here. With only three HOFers missing (B. Robinson, Mays, Hunter), this is still a loaded set. The star cards just below the key cards tend to be a strong Ex-Mt or Near Mint with few exceptions. We grade the key cards as follows: 3 Killebrew/Mantle LL NM, 16 Morgan RC NM, 134 Mantle WS NM well ctd, 155 Maris Ex-Mt, 160 Clemente Ex-Mt, 170 Aaron VG+, 207 Rose Ex well ctd, 300 Koufax NM, 320 Gibson NM, 350 Mantle Ex-Mt, 385 Yastrzemski Ex-Mt ctd, 400 Killebrew Ex-Mt, 461 Carroll/Niekro Ex-Mt, 470 Berra Ex, 477 Carlton RC Strong Ex-Mt+, 510 Banks NM, 540 Brock Ex and 581 Perez RC NM well ctd.
