Something you hardly ever see, offered is an evenly toned ball. Signed at Griffith Stadium in Washington, DC on August 20, 1960, this must have been a poignant game as the Senators left after the season, with professional baseball not to return to the DC area until the 1990s. The ball has 12 signatures and is noted as belonging to the bat boy. The signatures include HOFers Goose Goslin (on his own panel, displayable as such), Home Run Baker and Sam Rice. The other signatures include General Crowder, Charlie Keller, George Case, Joe Judge, Cecil Travis, Buddy Lewis, Dutch Leonard and Bill Werber. Nice ball, the signatures are in pleasing consistent dark ballpoint ink. JSA LOAA.
