A very interesting collection of GPCs walked into a show early in 2020. This is a single owner run of signed GPCs and related flats, almost all from 1953 and 1954, some are inscribed. The signatures are in both ink and pencil and are very strong overall. There could be something rare here, we were only able to identify about 25% of the signatures. These appear to be the better signatures in the lot, but given the nature of the collection, we might be off. It is also possible some entertainment and sports autographs could be scattered within the lot. There have been public sales of $40 and under for these signatures: Boyd Bennett, Floyd Bridges, Cowboy Capas, Martha Carson, Betty Clooney, Tommy Collins, Jimmie Dean, Jimmy Dickens, Darrell Glenn, Sonny James, Homer Jethro, Ann Jones, Randolph Jones, Grandpa Jones, Sammy Kaye, Rose Maddox, Leon Payne, Minnie Pearl, Buddy Rogers, Red Sovine, Redd Stewart, Mitchell Torok, Merle Travis, Justin Tubb, Ernest Tubb (2), Porter Wagoner (2), Speedy West, Slim Willet and Ginny Wright. Due to the nature of the lot, this is not something we could get authenticated but we would be shocked if there were any issues.
