One of the most classic of all Mantle oddball issues, Stahl Meyer Mantles are revered by advanced Mantle and 1950s oddball collectors. Scarce, super cool and so undervalued, these have been white hot in recent years. The offered card has a terrific image of a so young Mickey Mantle with perfect color and image quality. Alas, extensive creasing keeps this at a 1, but there is no back damage nor any technical flaws, the card displays well. Given the enormous prices key hobby cards have been trading it in any condition, one would think this card may well have some real upside beyond today?s current market value.
