Listing Details

Deadball star and underrated HOF pitcher has some of the flashiest stats in baseball history. Walsh died in 1959, and is extremely rare on a single signed ball. It is possible that only around ten are known, but we cannot be certain of this. The offered ball is a mildly toned Official League model. The sweet spot is signed Ed A. Walsh White in bold black fountain pen ink. The extremely high quality autograph contrasts nicely against the ball. The Sox logo appears on the south panel of the ball. According to the JSA LOA, the Sox logo was done in Walsh's own hand, making this even more special! A truly great single signed ball, worthy of the finest hobby collections, this could be a signature addition to any serious single signed ball collection. Superb. JSA LOA (full).
