Listing Details

Terrific Babe Ruth image, this is an iconic image of the Babe from the height of his fame. A very unusual set, these were issued from 1927 to 1929 and have a postcard back. Unmailed and quite clean, 22 written neatly on the back led to the qualifier. The image is immaculate, the larger size affords for such a terrific image. The edges are not bad at all, mild wear at the bottom two corners led to the 4 grade. We cannot see any creases or wrinkles, even under magnification, the surfaces are very clean overall. This is a strikingly attractive card of Ruth from the 1920s.
