Spotless Supreme Court card, this has a fine flowing dark fountain pen ink signature. Justice Murphy served on the Supreme Court from 1940 to 1949. An important justice, he was the Mayor of Detroit and denounced the internment of Japanese Americans during World War Two. Murphy sadly died in 1949 at only age 59, this is a desirable autograph.
