Freshly graded by us, a really nice person walked into a show with this raw a few months ago. Amazingly enough, he won this card in a contest decades ago and held onto his prize! The offered is an exceptional 3 as it has world class, nearly 50/50 centering all around! There are no print lines of marks, the color is terrific, the image of Rookie Mickey Mantle looks great. The borders are nice and clean, the back is flawless. The corner wear is very light, they are in the Ex range. A very subtle surface crease by the upper right corner (it does not go through to the back at all) keeps this at a gorgeous VG 3. One of the absolutely vital baseball cards, it would be almost impossible to find a nicer 3 than the offered card.
