A first for us, we have only even seen this card one time before. Cut from a larger piece, this measures just over 3 x 4.5 inches. The card has a unique image of Russell making a hook shot, it has an attractive blue border. There is a small scrape by the lower left corner, the blank back is clean. The card has some very subtle surface creases and displays quite well overall. One of the rarest Bill Russell cards, as of November 2022, there are only three of these that have been slabbed by PSA, two are Authentics, THE OFFERED LOT IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE WITH A NUMERIC GRADE. As there are so few vintage cards of Russell to collect and the white-hot market for top NBA material, this should be an extremely popular and desirable lot. Who wants to own a Bill Russell card that hardly anyone has or even may have seen before?
