From the collection of Yankee team trainer Gus Mauch, we believe this to be from either 1958 or 1961, but it could also be earlier. This appears to exactly match the design of the 1958 Yankees World Series ring, so this almost certainly must have been issued in 1958, perhaps to team employees who did not receive a ring. The piece itself is a stunning 5/8 x 3/4 inch gold pendant. Both sides are identical, each has a real diamond in the center, with New York Yankees World Champions engraved around the stone. The condition is quite clean, with only slight wear. Fresh to the hobby, we could not find other examples of this, it is most likely extremely rare. Great piece, we will open this at an extremely low minimum bid to make things interesting!
