A beautiful example of a 19th century baseball CDV, this checks in at 2.5 x 4. The photo has general wear from age but offers strong contrast and displays well. The back is neatly detailed, and notes this player as a first baseman for the Columbus Base Ball Club from 1865 through 1867. Produced by a photographer in Philadelphia, PA (F. Gutekunst), this is really nice.
