The key card to one of the great pre-war sets, these hardly ever come to market and are revered by collectors. Purchased decades ago, this was freshly slabbed at the National Convention. The offered card has a strikingly nice image of a so young Babe Ruth pitching in a Boston Red Sox uniform. Well centered, there is a fair amount of creasing on the front of the card but it does not crack the paper and can be seen mainly upon close inspection. The corners show moderate and consistent wear. The back is quite clean overall. An exceptionally attractive card for the grade, you could not ask for more than this from a 1. Please note only 11 of these have ever been graded by PSA, this is an extremely rare card. A significant and important very early Babe Ruth card, this is a superb piece.
