One of the ultimate baseball cards, these are cornerstones for so many collections. Offered is an ideal VG-Ex 4 exemplar with terrific centering and a superb image. The color on Mantle s image pops, the borders are white, the back looks great. We cannot see any creases or wrinkles, even under magnification. The corners show very mild wear, this is an outsanding card for the grade. It will be very interesting to see where the market goes on these in the next few years.
