A very nice item, this is dated August 1, 1951 on Brooklyn Dodgers letterhead. Written to Paul Kerr of the HOF, the content relates to a visit to Cooperstown and mentions a Congressional investigation. Signed neatly in flowing blue ink, the letter is quite crisp and clean. A vital and forever controversial figure in baseball history, it is always great to find him on a 1950s Brooklyn Dodger letter, especially from such a momentous season and with good content.
