Listing Details

Something that we have never seen before, we have shown these to various vintage specialists and no one has seen these. Offered is a fine run of 2 x 3 printed cards for some sort of board game. Likely a set, the content looks to be circa 1957-58 (we have the basketball cards as a separate lot). These have printed odds for goals, assists, pim and saves. The backs are black. We attempted to have the Bill Russell slabbed and the grading companies did not want to do so but this certainly could change in the future, with some enormous potential upside. The content here is simply awesome, with Howe, Horton, Kelly, Mahovlich, Keon, Bathgate, Howell, Gadsby, Worsley and Ullman. These certainly appear to be vintage but we do not know the issuer and could not find a period basketball game that was produced with such cards. This is a truly fascinating lot to our eyes.

REVISED: THIS WAS ISSUED AS PART OF A NEGAMCO BASKETBALL BOARD GAME, LIKELY 1959.
