One of the great card sets, these were issued over two decades and have an almost endless number of variations. Catnip to so many collectors, sets of this level of completion are rare and prized by collectors and dealers. The value here is simply amazing, with an avalanche of HOFers, scarce cards, desirable team cards and star players. The set looks to be missing just the Mantle Portrait, Mueller, Richardson and Yaz based on our checklist. The condition varies from VG to Near Mint, the set looks to be in 70% range Ex-Mt or better, the balance is mainly in the VG-Ex range, with some variance above and below that. The set has not been picked for slabbing, there should be some strong potential for that here. A great offering that you will hardly ever, the value here as singles has to be tremendous. Who wants to add one of the great post-war baseball card sets to their collection?
