Listing Details

An amazing collecting accomplishment, our consignor worked for over forty years to put this together! Missing only seven cards (four are being offered in the auction in separate lots), the others are Bickford, Queen and Chipman. The lot has eighteen PSA and SGC slabbed cards and quite a few others with the flips (our consignor cracked those out to display in pages). Organized by team, the set is a nice mix of vintage and sharpie signatures. The cards and autographs naturally vary in darkness but are more than clean overall. Something that you just never see, this is just loaded with name players, scarcities and just cool signed cards. The 1952 Bowmans are among the most attractive cards from this era, this is a great looking lot. The lot includes twenty-eight HOFers, the better signatures include: 1 Berra, 3 Hutchinson (D'1964), 4 Roberts, 5 Minoso RC, 8 Reese, 11 Kiner, 21 N Fox, 24 Furillo, 30 Schoendienst, 33 McDougald RC, 43 Feller, 52 Rizzuto, 53 Ashburn, 92 Waitkus (D'1972), 95 Easter, 115 Doby, 116 Snider, 125 Howie Fox (D'1956, extremely rare), 128 Newcombe, 142 Wynn, 145 Mize, 146 Durocher, 152 Cox, 156 Spahn, 161 Jensen, 162 Irvin, 188 Dressen MG, 196 Musial, 217 Stengel, 223 Simpson, 232 Slaughter, 244 Burdette RC, 252 Crosetti. JSA reviewed the lot and only Bucky Harris is clubhouse!
