Listing Details

Dated March 22, 1809, this handsome display is anchored by an 8.5 x 9.25 Ship's Paper document signed as President. The Madison signature could not be any bolder, the document has some general wear and spots of damage but retains good clarity and overall eye appeal. Written in four languages as was the custom as the time, this is a fun piece of history, especially as the ship given passage was named Pocahantas! Total size 20x16. JSA LOA (full).
