The ultimate name in autograph collecting, his very name is synonymous with signatures! The first signer of the Declaration of Independence, offered is a document signed as Governor of Massachusetts. Dated July 20, 1790, this appoints a William Allen as first Colonel of the Sixth Regiment. A full size document that displays fabulously, often Hancock documents are partial. The document itself measures 15x13, it is beautifully matted and framed to 27x17. Onto the signature; Hancock signed this in a perfect spot to the left of the main text, the autograph is large, flowing and superb, you could not ask for a nicer signature. Even if one had no interest in collecting Presidents, this is just a superb item to add to any collection and a real conversation stopper. JSA LOA (full).
