Among the very best pitchers in the history of baseball, this is a very elusive and significant signed baseball. As with so many other players, Grove appears on 3x5s and smaller flats through the mail, but single signed balls are almost rare. The offered ball is a pleasing Official League model. Grove signed this on the sweet spot in attractive blue ballpoint ink, the E in Grove is a touch lighter than the rest of the signature. We have not seen or handled one of these in years.
