This is an image of Joe Louis being knocked down by Galento in the third round of their bout in Yankee Stadium on June 28, 1939. A fine display piece, the image itself is 12.5 x 9, the total size is 16 x 12.5. Period signed in fountain pen ink, this cannot be very common. JSA LOAA.
