Offered is a truly remarkable piece of Brooklyn Dodgers and baseball history. This gorgeous composition consists of two amazing signed checks from beloved and historic Brooklyn Dodger HOFers. The first check is a Jackie Robinson signed personal check. Far from your typical Jackie check, this one is writted out to Ida Campanella. Dated May 3, 1948, this has a superb period dark ink signature. Just to the right of Jackie is a remarkable Gil Hodges check. Dated June 23, 1958, this is a Gil Hodges which is fully signed Gilbert Ray Hodges. It is our understanding that there are only a few of these in existence signed as such. These great checks are smartly paired with a very attractive vintage photo of Jackie and Gil. Total size 21x20, this is a real conversation stopper that will demand (and deserve) some wall space.
