Listing Details

Offered is one of the toughest 1920s Babe Ruth Caramel cards. From an uncommon issue that was likely produced (or simply survive) in a very small quantity, this is a great card. The card offers a terrific image of a younger Babe Ruth in uniform peering up at the ball he just hit, with his bat fully extended. The card is cut fully to the bottom border, hence the Authentic rating. The image is perfectly clean, and is the high point of the card. Creasing is present on the front of the card, along with some nicks on the left edge. The back has extensive paper loss from scrapbook removal. Despite these issues, the quality of the image, overall eye appeal and scarcity combine for a great card.
