The 1953 Bowman Color is among the most classic and beloved of all of his cards. A hot card in recent years without a signature, the high value of these has always made signed examples extremely scarce and desirable. Freshly slabbed at the National, the offered card is well centered with good color and a fine image. A fair amount of creasing is on the card, but it still displays well overall. Mickey signed this in a good spot, the signature is in black sharpie ink. This has to be one of the toughest 1950s Mantle cards to find with an autograph, happy bidding!
