2025 Fall Classic

Offered is a truly historic and wonderful early 19th century United States original historical document. The offered lot is a Ship?s Passage document signed by Thomas Jefferson as President as by future President James Madison as his Secretary of State. Scallop cut, this has fine imagery of a ship and a lighthouse at the top and a clean and full Presidential seal by the lower left corner. The edges have no tears or rips, but this does exhibit some general wear. It is very difficult to discern the date of the document, but of course it had to have been signed by Jefferson as President. An absolutely vital historical autograph, the Jefferson and Madison autographs are fully legible, 7/10 in our opinion. These documents are revered by collectors and hardly ever come to market, who wants to add something truly great to their collection? JSA LOA (full).
