Lot #1277 1959 Program Wilt Chamberlain Third Pro Game (10/11/1959) Exhibition Game

Offered is what we believe to be only the third professional game for the legendary Wilt Chamberlain. An exhibition game against the St. Louis Hawks, this took place on October 11, 1959. Interestingly enough, a great overhead image of Chamberlain gets the front cover. Folded, the program is otherwise crisp and clean. Neatly scored, interestingly enough Chamberlain went for 22 points but Hawks HOFer Bob Pettit scored 24. Presumably rare, this is a terrific super-early Chamberlain item.
