A very interesting person, Murphy was a star Yankee reliever in the 1930s and 1940s and then an important exec for the 1969 Mets. Murphy died in 1970 and is rare on an 8x10 photo. Offered is a fine image, this has a solid vintage blue ballpoint ink signature. JSA LOAA.
