Rare signature, this 19th century Phillies, Braves and 1900 Reds player died in 1943. Offered is a remarkable 14-page letter (all on two sides) and the original transmittal envelope from 1890. The handwriting is light but legible, some file holes may have been repaired, the letter does not appear to be formally signed. JSA LOAA.
