Lot #968 1955 Kansas City A's Original Imperial Size Photo w/original envelope

Offered is a superb 13.5 x 11 original type one photo Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The image shows an ornate field with bunting on the stands, we believe this was from the first Kansas City A's home game in 1955 but we are not certain. The players from A's are visible in their dugout but the opposing team is not on the field. The image has some fine creasing but displays well overall. In a great touch, this comes with the original mailing envelope from a Kansas City photography studio. This could well be a very unique and special item.
