Lot #764 1960 MacGregor Complete Set (25) Cond: Ex

Very elusive set from 1960, we hardly ever see these. Slightly oversize issue (nearly 4x5), the larger size affords for fine images. The set has eight HOFers with Aaron, Mays, Frank Robinson, Ashburn, Roberts and Mazeroski. Interesting set, these tend to have square corners and super clean fronts (some have tiny wrinkles by the corners), the backs all have a stamp from a Scott's Athletic Equipment in Washington State, making this potentially a very rare and desirable set.
